when i miss southern california
i make guacamole with avocados from israel that cost $1. each. pretty much the same price in calif. even though they are friggin grown there. WTF?
anyway...gooooooooood guacamole.
life without avacados is no life of mine.

we've started making a chunky guacamole with cucumber, tomatoes, avocados, lime, garlic salt and ground cumin. i wouldn't be able to live without avocados either. you can also try a pilipino standard: mashed avocados, cream and sugar and freeze in an ice cube tray -- voila! avocado ice cream.
