i was gone...

but now im back.

if u can believe it...my hard drive crashed last month (hard to believe, as macs are rarely this high maintenance) and so thanks to having applecare, i was covered to have the hard drive replaced. luckily i found a local apple repair place that would accept the applecare deal. 2 weeks later, get the powerback, start loading everything again, lost all personal data, but hey, lifes tough sometimes.

then as i think im on easy street again, just before that week is over, the drive crashed yet again. after a half hour with apple tech on the phone, it was determined that the hard drive was toast or burnt, yes, yet again. who knew one could have such bad luck? well, id rather have bad luck with such menial things like this than with life. so again little miss powerbook got sent to the nice mac guy, named mattias (who speaks decent english! thank god-imagine me trying to understand technical swedish..ahh yeah) so now, 4 days later (oct.6) i got my powerbook back. and lets just say im not holding my breath....im happy but ive learnt that it can be fleeting.

if someone wants to present me a new powerbook for xmas, new years, hanaukkah, boxing day, eid, kwanzaa, halloween, thanksgiving, diwali (come on its hindu!)...i'd be really nice to you and call you on your birthday.
