robert de niro's waiting...

talking italian.

now, that was the tune i purposefully played in the car on my way to pick up JP from work. its summer, its hot, the sun shines really bright here, the air is perfect, the windows were down, sunroof open...it really couldn't have been better.

as a child of the 80s, i'd hope that some of you...being of similar tastes and age range would know who sang that song. as a pre-teen i was obsessed with them and soooo wanted to be blonde and british...but that was a far, far balloon ride away from my mission viejo, first generation, indian-american ways. my life would be and continue to be a confused indian born in america existence.

this group also had another beauty titled 'na na na na hey hey hey good bye'. can't repeat perfection like that now. and they were all hits!!!!

:)

fyi: robert de niro's waiting was sung by banarama, but the na na na hey hey was by a band called steam.

i love that you pretended you had a convertible. i used to roll down all the windows and open the sunroof on my non-convertible beetle, just to simulate the convertible sensations, but now i have a convertible and don't have to pretend.
