Clocks go forward an hour

24th March 2007

Summertime begins in Sweden on Saturday night, meaning a lost hour's sleep for many and a shorter Sunday for others.

The clocks go forward an hour at 2am, which becomes 3am summertime.

The change will mean darker mornings and lighter evenings.

packages from america

sometimes arrive at my door, mostly from good friends.

i wish there was a camera catching my expression when i opened a package from my dear friend christy yesterday, it was one of pure happiness and relief.

christy sent me some cadbury creme eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how i've longed for them!

somethings just remind you of life...thank you my bestest friend for putting a smile on my face and giving the little swindu his/her first taste of one of my favorite 'easter time treats. nothing beats a cadbury's egg..thank u easter bunny..bawk bawk.

amerikanska

in my swedish class this term, i have a gal from ohio named hillary. Of course, living in a foreign country allows you to become instant friends with people from your former land. so this week, while we had a winter break i invited hillary over for tea and cookies. hillary, like moi met her husband online (who is swedish) and moved here 4 yrs. ago. so, this whole online thing happens maybe more than you know! :)
